Angela is passionate about: 1) technology and how it can help us answer important questions in human and environmental health. 2) mentorship to help trainees achieve their potential and reach their career goals.

Angela completed her Ph.D. at Cornell University, then joined the Vanderbilt University Mass Spectrometry Research Center as a postdoctoral researcher before being promoted to research assistant professor. She joins the Ohio State University Department of Microbial Infection and Immunity in January 2026.
